We all have them. New Year resolutions are the dreams and hopes for a better year. So joining in the fun, here is my list. The last two years have been hard on so many people. I refuse to see a repeat and plan on working on ways to make it better! Not only for myself but for the people around me.
1.Start each day with a positive thought. I want to make it a concise decision to be happy. Check out this website: The Happiness Project It was an inspiration.
2. Ok, just like everyone else, I too want to lose weight. Not just to look good but it will keep me healthy for years to come.
3. Meditate daily. I love this quiet time! I just don't do it as much as I should.
4. Make enough money to actually support myself. I'm getting tired of peanut butter!
5. Find more contract work in the quilting industry. It means making a living doing what I love.
6. Learn to take better pictures for my blog.
7. Don't be afraid to network. It goes along with the confidence stuff. I hate to impose on anyone!
8. Have more confidence in myself and what I can do.
9. Improve my writing skills. I would truly love to make money doing this.
10. Start an on line college course. If you knew how close I am to an AA, you would kick me.
Ok, I think 10 is enough. It will be interesting to see how much of this I actually accomplish.
Last year I decided I wanted to have more custom sewing work. I now lots of fun projects to do for people that are willing to actually pay me to do what I love! What are your New Year Resolutions? Write them down and put it where you can see it every day. I hope everyone has a prosperous and healthy year.
