We set off for Precision flight school today in Newberg, Oregon.
Here a picture of the front of the school.
We met a flight instructor named Jeff who took Ash on a "discovery flight"
Not much to see here, but they are in the helicopter about ready to take off.
Ok, here is Ash after the flight.. he did really well. Jeff said he was suprise at how fast Ash picked it up.
That's my boy!
He looks right at home. I hope he learns to fly a bigger helicopter if he wants to give me any rides.
Here is the maintence hanger. Boy was it clean!
Ok, on to Utah. Here we are still in Oregon but we found these enormous tree farms as far as you could see. The trees were called "pacific albus". This was out in the middle of nowhere. It was dry, flat and hot.. and then there were all these trees. We thought is was neat.
Don't look that big from this picture but they were very tall and dense. Ok so you had to be there!
Back in Newberg we took a drive to a little town called Yamhill. There wasn't much there except I did manage to find a quilt shop out in the middle of nowhere at farm house. There were lots of other ranches and farms all around. Unfortantly they were not open. Darn!
Ok that's all for now.. time for bed.
